Tantra Workshops & Classes in Singapore

Most people who are curious about tantra do not want a private session as their first move. They want to find out what the practice actually is, in a room where they are not the only person there. That is what the group class is for.

A group tantra class in Singapore, S$300 per person. Taught instruction in breath, attention and body awareness — the working fundamentals of the practice. Fully clothed, no hands-on work, no experience assumed, and nothing individual asked of you. Most people attend on their own.

Group Tantra Class

S$300 per person

  • Structured breath practice — the fastest available lever on your own nervous system
  • Attention and interoception training you keep using afterwards
  • Body awareness without the incense-and-vagueness problem
  • Group setting, fully clothed, no hands-on work

Group size is kept small, so dates are confirmed on enquiry.

What you actually learn

The class teaches mechanics, not atmosphere. You leave able to do things, which is a lower bar than transformation and a much more honest one.

Breath. Not "breathe deeply" — specific structured patterns, and why they work. Slow, deliberate respiration measurably lowers physiological arousal and lifts mood (Balban et al., 2023). This is the part people are most sceptical about and most surprised by.

Attention. Interoception — your sense of your own internal state — is trainable, and it underlies most of what gets loosely called "being in your body" (Craig, 2002). The class works on noticing sensation without immediately explaining it to yourself.

Presence. The least mystical thing in the room, once defined properly: staying with what is happening rather than with the mind's running commentary about it. It is a skill, it is practised, and it gets easier.

The traditional vocabulary and the physiological one are describing the same territory. 氣 in one map, vagal tone in another. You do not have to pick a side, and the class does not ask you to adopt a worldview to breathe differently.

What the class is not

  • Not hands-on. Nobody touches you. Tantric bodywork is a separate, private, one-to-one format.
  • Not partnered. Most people come alone. Couples are welcome, but attending on your own is the normal case, not the awkward one.
  • Not a performance. Nothing individual is asked of you. You are not going to be pulled to the front of the room.
  • Not religious. No belief system is taught or required.
  • Not a sales funnel for a package. The class stands on its own. If a private session is not right for you afterwards, that is a perfectly good outcome.

Who it is for

People who are curious and want the fundamentals before deciding whether to go further. People who have read about breathwork or somatic practice and want it taught properly rather than absorbed off a screen. People who would find a one-to-one session too exposing as a first step — which is most people, and is not a character flaw.

No flexibility, fitness or prior experience is assumed. The work is breath, attention and awareness, all of which are available to any body.

Class or private session?

The class costs less and asks less of you. A private session goes considerably deeper, moves entirely at your pace, and can follow whatever is actually happening in your body on the day.

If you are unsure, take the class. Most people who end up going deep started shallow, and there is no version of this where starting small counts against you. Full rates for private work are on the sessions and rates page, and the orientation to tantra in Singapore compares the formats properly.

Ask about the next class

Group size is small and dates are set around it. Message to find out when the next one runs and what it covers.

Common questions

Is there any nudity or touch in the class?

No. The group class is fully clothed instruction with no hands-on work. Everything taught is practice you do in your own body. Hands-on tantric bodywork is a separate, private, one-to-one format entirely.

Do I need a partner?

No. Most people attend on their own. Couples are welcome and get value from doing it together, but the class is built so that coming alone is completely ordinary.

What if I feel awkward?

Most people do at first, and a group class is the format where that matters least — you are not the focus of the room. It usually settles once the breathing work starts and the nervous system has something concrete to do.

When is the next class?

Dates are confirmed on enquiry, because group size is kept deliberately small. Send a message and you will get the next available dates and the full format.

Is this the same as a couples workshop?

No. This class is general tantra practice, taught to individuals in a group. Couples-specific work — built around relationship, communication and shared practice — is the speciality of our sister practice at tantra.sg.
